The Ditches- Album Release Show
A Philly Punx United Jawn with Late Night Television, Applied Knowledge, Jelly Knives
“The Ditches are building a reputation as a consistently intense live rock n roll band, the kind that reminds you why you liked that kind of music in the first place. We say Garage Americana because we love Neil Young and George Jones as much as The Stooges and The Ramones.
Now, The Ditches are releasing their debut album “Been Here This Whole Damn Time” on Friday 9/27 and this show on 10/5 is our party to commemorate the event. A party, by and for the people who still love rock n roll.
Please join The Ditches, Jelly Knives, Late Night Television (their first show since 2019!) and new post-hardcore heroes Applied Knowledge (featuring members of Yard Sale Toys, Ghosts In The Valley, Black Friday Death Count, Dag Nasty and more) for a night of smart music that still rocks.”
Jelly Knives- Jelly Knives is a bunch of pretty good songs played fairly well by a few people who don’t have the time to be in a punk rock band.
Late Night Television- 30 year veterans of the southeastern Pennsylvania indie rock scene. As disciples of the Westerberg/Mould school of songwriting they have released several albums of self deprecating, high energy indie rock that, in a different era, would have received generous airplay at college radio stations across the country. Cutting their teeth on the fertile indie rock scenes of the 90s, LNTV continue the tradition of big guitars, earnest vocals and relatable songs. (Although if that’s the case, we do recommend therapy.)
Applied Knowledge- You are reading a band bio for Applied Knowledge. Its purpose is to entice potential listeners like you with words and phrase such as ". ...members of Black Friday Death Count, Ghosts In the Valley & Yard Sale Toys" or "..odd flavored donuts for the ears" and "featuring the dulcet tones of Peter from Dag Nasty" So... did it work? Let us know. You have now finished reading this bio.
The Ditches- Bands form for different reasons. The Ditches formed out of a deep need to exorcise some demons through rock and sweat in a garage and bond as friends. Garage Americana, by and for the people who still love rock n roll.
